Clean Summer Fun Make up

I am trying out a new lip color for the summer. I usually only use lip gloss for the shine but never any lip colors, but I am liking the instant fuller lip look! =X As always, the rest of the make up is kept simple and dewey! ~xoxo!

School is Cool

Hello Autumn! I've missed you so! It's been 6 months since my last post but I am back!!! Summer has been fun, but as always I look forward to autumn every year! Who doesn't like nice sunny cool days after months of HOTNESS...and not to mention there are TONS of new fall styles this season!

Random thought:Autumn brings back memories of my grade-school days when I waited excitedly for my mom to take me clothes shopping for the new school year and picture day (eekkk...hehehe)! I know what you're thinking....you were EXCITED too!!!! =P

.....Anyway.... Bold colors are back again, but let's start with something simple for my homecoming! ^_~

I love this Madewell Skinny Skinny Ankle (black) demin! The fit is just perfect!  I always have to hem all of my pants/jeans, but I think these are just fine without alterations.

Black & white will never go out of style!
Accessorize with belt and (red) heels for an instant lift to your look (no pun intended =P)!

As mentioned above, BOLD colors are back! I love this orange tote! I generally try to stay in the same (warm) color scheme! Success?? =)

Make up: Again, I like to keep my look clean and simple! Less is always more! ;)

Well hello sexyyyy ladies (and gentlemen)! Hope you have been well and still enjoying life! It has been too long! Summer was fun and exciting with travels, events, and some changes in my personal life. All in all I am finally settled and at last I have time to resume my long overdue posts! I can't wait to share more fashion trends and make-up looks with you!!!

2012 is coming to an end, BUT there are so many EVENTS & PARTIES left before we enter a new chapter!!! Stay tune for party looks! Let's end the year with a BANG!!!
In the meantime, dress classy (not too sure about dance cheesy) =P!

Sunday Shopping Spree

Southern California has been beautiful with weather in the 80's which puts me in the mood to shop as I am inspired by the bright beautiful day! (I am going to rub it in some more and share that my bestie and I sunbathed for awhile before hitting the outdoor mall)! =)

I was in such a HAPPY mood today that everything I grabbed was a "YES"! Good thing? Maybe...hehehhe. Here are some pieces that I found at my favorite store, H&M!!!

I love this little black dress! It was very structured and hugged the body well! The zipper right down the midline definitely made this dress!!! 

I love this HOT PINK dress (which does not show up well here). It is simple and can be paired with pretty much anything (see later entries) =D 

I fell in love with this dress because of its color (peach pink)! I am not too fond of the belt, but I can always replace it with one of my own! This spring, be on the outlook for nude and pastel colors! 

SUNDAY SERVICE OUTFIT

It may be the old Catholic-schoolgirl in me, but I love dressing up for church!

I love layering different textures on top of one another! So unpredictable yet so refreshing! LOVE! 

I played up the look with more jewelries: bracelets, cuffs, and gold cocktail rings 

Make-up: Only eye-liner and lip gloss 

Simplicity is good when you're making a statement with your outfit! :)

This weekend has been WONDERFUL!!! The weather was warm and I'm feeling HAPPY! I spent quality time with friends and family! Speaking of my friends, one of my BFFs is getting married!!! YAY!!! I'm so happy for her!!! <3 =) (Sorry, I can't contain my happiness for the cute couple) ^_^

Anyway, I was asked to work on her wedding website, so that means...this BLOG may go unattended for some time, but I will be back to update on new looks when I get a chance!!!

Good-bye 2011, Good-bye hair....

I love experimenting with clothes, accessories, and hairstyles included! If you know me, you know I've changed hair style multiple times! This is another form of self expression for me! With that said, I chopped off my hair! I've had short hair in the past but decided to grow it out because of a specific personal incident in my life (when I had short hair), I didn't want to be reminded of it...anyhow, that story is for another day. Well, this Christmas I'm ready to leave the past in the past and start new! So, here it is to changes!!! :)

Gray sweater: H&M 

Color contact lens: Gray

Make-up: Cut-crease lid with blue eyeliners on top and bottom lash lines. The face, as usual is kept simple with bronzer for a healthy glow. Lip: Cherry Chap Stick 

I am so ready for 2012~ New 'do, new goals, new places to go and things to try.....ah, all the possibilities! 

Here is to NEW BEGINNINGS!

I'm Your WING-WOMAN!

Winged eye-shadow (not liner this time)! 

Copper shades (fade the colors from the outer corner in meaning darkest at the outer corners)

I kept the shadows in a smaller area (slightly above the crease) to give it a subtle look

Of course use eye liner to tightly line the water-line but allow the shadow to give it the winged effect

You'd only see the shadow as the wing unless you were looking down, which makes it almost unexpected! ;)

I love this look! It's so easy and natural looking yet dramatic at the same time! This look definitely screams for a second glance (at YOU, of course)! =P Enjoy!!!!

Lost in the Smoke...y....Eyes

I had so much fun with my colored contact lens that I just got that they inspired me to play with my eye make-up! I love the dramatic effect these lens have and of course this calls for sultry smokey eyes! hahaha...ok, I don't know about sultry, but smokey....YES! =D

Metallic gray with black liners and shadow to give the smokey effect

Liner Winged-up creates a very dramatic look!

"Smiley" eyes =P .....well, I was actually smiling, so I guess this doesn't count!  =P

As always, I kept the rest of the make-up simple and clean!  

Here's my final look in the light with my purple (yes, PURPLE!) lens! ^_^

I just got 3 different colored contact lens (purple, gray, and BLACK)! I can't wait to try the other two!!!! More pictures to come along new different make-up looks! I wonder what black lens would look like on me? Eeekkkk....^_~
