Leather, Pleather, and the Cold Weather...

It's been rainy in not-so sunny California....but I do love having an excuse to bundle up when I go outside! ^.^

Animal -print Scarf: Express

Another way to wear your cuff when you don't want to bare it all (aka: your wrist), wear the cuff over your outerwear.

Yes, I am obsessed with my scarf....hehehe

Knee-high boots (old...but still my favs)!

Underneath it all (well not really! ha! >.<): Long rhinestone top with leather-like tights. This is also the staple of the next outfit (below)

Switch up the outfit with: Boxed cropped jacket and heels

Simple and clean

Definitely could be worn to brunch, dinner, or all day!! ^_~
This is the sheer -top that I tried on at H&M (posted earlier).  I rolled up the sleeves a little and ----Viola! they fit as if tailored!

I love these faux leather (aka pleather) pants from H&M. They're a little high-waisted but perfect for tucking in shirts like these!

Accessorize a little and you get a clean and chic outfit!

Wear with: Boots....or..

(Low) Heels...or

Booties (these are awesome: they're tan/brown and completely versatile!!!)

Here is a closer look! =)

So my obsession with sheer-tops didn't stop after I purchased the long sleeved top (above)! I found another one and convinced myself that this one is more feminine (just look at the cute collar)!!! Love it! <3 hehehe...

How can you resist this cute top?!!! I added a white necklace and instant classiness! =D

Ohhh...and look at the back! Super cute! No need for further justifications! \^_^/

This BOLD Orange top goes so well with my faux leather pants! The color of this shirt cannot be appreciated in this picture, but trust me....it's BRIGHT!

Oh, did I mention, the shirt is flow-y too! I don't know what is is about flowy/sheer tops, but they are my staples for this season!!!

I have more outfits to come, but I'll have to save it for another day! It's way past my bedtime and I know I will pay for it tomorrow! (sigh....) My love for clothes will get me in trouble one day....until then, stay in vogue! ;)
XOXO,
~Kathy

To Buy or Not To Buy....

I haven't been too impressed with what fashion offers out there, but I must admit I was on a mission to finding the perfect sheer top. So here were my two options at H&M:

Tried to envision this top with a large belt (and stilettos to go w/ this skirt)...but I was not sold =/

Option 2! Although the sleeves were long, I was able to work with them. I love the structured look the shirt gives. I can dress it up with a high-waisted skirt or dress down with a pair of skinny jeans. SOLD! ^_^

'Tis the season to shop and go out....so make sure you look good doing it! ;)
XOXO!!! <3

It's November....and it's beginning to look like a FEAST!!!!

Chirashi at Koto Japanese Restaurant (Fountain Valley)

Lunch portion: just the perfect size and super fresh!!!

Itriya Cafe (Irvine in Diamond Jamboree Plaza)

Ann's Shrimp and Cold Noodle Salad

Memphis BBQ Chicken & Sauce, Red Onion, and Cilantro

Spicy BBQ Chicken Ssam

BBQ Rib Eye Taconini

**Hehehehe....I just realized that I ordered everything "BBQ"~ Just one of those days where I crave BBQ ^_^
Spicy Beef Soup (noodles are optional but the soup itself consists of stewed beef, daikon, cabbage, bean sprouts, and scallion). This soup reminds of me Pho but mildly spicy.
The lost bean organic coffee & tea (Tustin)
Zebra mocha latte w/ soy milk= YUM!!! =D I must go back to try other drinks!! I <3 coffee!!!

It's only the first half of November! I'm sure I'll be trying more restaurants/ coffee shops to come! Yayyyy! =D

Expect Nothing But the Best....@ Ikko Japanese Restaurant for Sushi!

I found my new FAVORITE Sushi Restaurant in OC!!!

Ikko Japanese Restaurant (Costa Mesa, CA)
Comment: FRESH & the BEST Sushi!!!! I fell in <3 with sushi! hehehe! The food was delicious! The service was great! The only downside...kinda pricey, but you get what you pay for! :) Enjoy!!!

This picture alone should sums it all up, but let me take you through the whole course/adventure while I was at Ikko! :)
Appetizer: Soft Tofu

Seared tuna salad (Seared to perfection)!

Beautiful presentation too!

Stuffed chicken and brown rice (under the Appetizer list)

Another view

YUM!!!! The freshest nigiri in town!!! These are marinated so you don't even need to dip in soy sauce! Did I say YUMMY?!!! =P

Tuna Roll! Simple but definitely did NOT taste at all simple! Less is MORE,  right?!

Okay, I'm still very impressed...so here's another photo of the nigiri!

Unagi!! I did not want to share! hehehe....but I did

Chilled spoons...now we are ready for dessert!

Black sesame ice-cream in black coffee: very interesting, but yet so good! The coffee was unsweetened and bitter, but the sweetness of the ice-cream offsets the bitter taste perfectly!

Not your ordinary cup of green tea! How does Green tea flan sound??! I didn't taste the green tea too much, but the flan definitely was a flan! Fabulous!!! (If you know me, you would know how much I love FLAN!)

I was satisfied and very impressed after this meal! I must return! :)

Halloween!!!!

Halloween is so much fun! Although I love make-up, Halloween is the perfect excuse for me to go all out and have fun with my (dark/sultry) make-up! I do not dare to wear it on any other day....hehehehehe (that's just me)!

Anyway, this year I wanted to be Princess Jasmine, but then decided against it because I want to be some one KICK A$$ this year!!! No more miss nice girl!!! =P So, here I am dressed up as Lara Croft (in Tomb Raider)! Of course, Angela Jolie was my inspiration! ^_~

GIRL POWER ALL THE WAY!!!!! ;-P

Something I threw together last minute from my closet!

Bootie shorts, fitted shirt (rolled up), black belt, knee-high combat boots, and a tie (tied around my leg)

Of course I not own gun holsters, I just used my black belt and clipped on cell-phone cases (shhhhh....hehehe =P Hey, they look legit!)

Black cuff from H&M. I saw a picture wear Lara Croft wore cargo shorts, so I decided to change as well! ^_^

Action pose! ;) (Not really, I was not planning on taking this)
Here is my close-up of my make-up. Although it's not too dramatic looking in pictures, but definitely heavier than what I normally wear.

More dramatic winged-eye

With false lashes

Just being silly! =P

Mwuah! Have fun this weekend and be safe!!! Please don't drink & drive and don't make any kids cry either!!!!
XOXO~
