Clean Summer Fun Make up

I am trying out a new lip color for the summer. I usually only use lip gloss for the shine but never any lip colors, but I am liking the instant fuller lip look! =X As always, the rest of the make up is kept simple and dewey! ~xoxo!

The New and Improved Sexy Maxi Dress

This new maxi dress is my new obsession at the moment! I love the slits on both sides of the dress showing of some but not too much skin! O:) I paired this dress with a "neon" orange loose top which came out in the photos as blah orange (sorry....=/...)

Use a belt to accentuate the waist!
"Neon" orange loose knit: I love the off-shoulder look.
It just gives the outfit an effortless yet put together feel. WIN! =)

The new and modern long maxi dress = the side slits 

The nude wedges just automatically elongate the legs which definitely help the figure in such a maxi dress! ;)

Happy Spring! New Beginnings

HAPPY SPRING, Friends! 

I was on a hiatus for many months but I. AM. BACK!!! I love this season for its colors, warmer weather, and definitely the feeling of NEW BEGINNINGS! 

When I think of Spring fashion, I think of light, playful style that is relaxing yet chic. I like to transition from the cold winter (ok...mild in CA) into cool breezy spring with my style by pairing feminine pieces with bold/dark pieces. =) Here I chose a feminine top with men-inspired (linen) trousers.

Top: F21

F21 Top: I love the loud colorful prints which is contrasted by the feminine lace neckline
(What a contradiction! =P) 

This linen trousers are loose, comfortable and perfect for the cool spring weather!
A big bonus: the style is flattering for almost all body figures!
Try pairing them with heels to elongate the legs and give yourself a few inches (ahem....without anyone knowing! ;)

Because the trousers are already loose, the top should be fitted or at least tucked in to accentuate that nice feminine waistline. It'll instantly give you a polish look! 

Make-up: Neutral

Eye make-up: Benefit (Fake up concealer, BADgal waterproof Liner, They're Real! Mascara), Urban Decay eyeshadows
Face: Sunblock, Benefit CORALista blush
Lips: vaseline

The trick is keeping it soft by blending colors together.

In the past few months (or year) much has happened but there were many lessons that I learned about myself, others, and God's love. I am still very grateful and thankful for experiences and especially the friends and family who were there for me. Regardless of what has happened or will happen, I can say that I am very BLESSED.   I know that He has a plan for me and better things are yet to come!

Spring is about rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal and regrowth! So cheers to new beginnings! Stay Strong, stay Motivated, and always look for the silver lining in every situation! Don't give up! Do what makes you happy and everything will fall in its place!

School is Cool

Hello Autumn! I've missed you so! It's been 6 months since my last post but I am back!!! Summer has been fun, but as always I look forward to autumn every year! Who doesn't like nice sunny cool days after months of HOTNESS...and not to mention there are TONS of new fall styles this season!

Random thought:Autumn brings back memories of my grade-school days when I waited excitedly for my mom to take me clothes shopping for the new school year and picture day (eekkk...hehehe)! I know what you're thinking....you were EXCITED too!!!! =P

.....Anyway.... Bold colors are back again, but let's start with something simple for my homecoming! ^_~

White 3/4" sleep top with gold necklace.

I love this Madewell Skinny Skinny Ankle (black) demin! The fit is just perfect!  I always have to hem all of my pants/jeans, but I think these are just fine without alterations.

Black & white will never go out of style!
Accessorize with belt and (red) heels for an instant lift to your look (no pun intended =P)!

As mentioned above, BOLD colors are back! I love this orange tote! I generally try to stay in the same (warm) color scheme! Success?? =)

Make up: Again, I like to keep my look clean and simple! Less is always more! ;)

Well hello sexyyyy ladies (and gentlemen)! Hope you have been well and still enjoying life! It has been too long! Summer was fun and exciting with travels, events, and some changes in my personal life. All in all I am finally settled and at last I have time to resume my long overdue posts! I can't wait to share more fashion trends and make-up looks with you!!!

2012 is coming to an end, BUT there are so many EVENTS & PARTIES left before we enter a new chapter!!! Stay tune for party looks! Let's end the year with a BANG!!!
In the meantime, dress classy (not too sure about dance cheesy) =P!
